A Target-beating Winter Appeal

Your support during our 2025 winter appeal  has blown our January blues away.

Generous donations from you, our fantastic supporters, have helped raise £3,073! 

In December, we came to you with the goal of raising £1,000 to help support our young writers. We were blown away by the response, which was so overwhelmingly positive that we were able to increase our target not once, not twice, but three times!

A late donation has even pushed us over the £3,000 mark. That’s enough for 3,452 packets of breadsticks.

Even though the donations came through in the winter, their impact will last well beyond. Looking ahead to 2026, your donations will help fuel three terms of exciting projects: from creating books that will be printed and toured around Hackney libraries, to devising personal mythologies with a Hoxton twist.

Support like this will keep our young writers’ brains whirring and their confidence growing.
